Seattle police say a 51-year-old Kent woman whose body was pulled from the water off West Seattle is a homicide victim.

Police appealed to the public Thursday for help in solving the case of Greggette Guy, whose body was recovered early Monday.

Detectives believe the woman parked her car in the area Sunday night and planned to take a walk along the beach.

She was found dead just offshore. Police did not discuss a cause of death.

Authorities are asking the public to report any suspicious activity, people or vehicles seen in the area around 4400 block of Beach Drive SW the evening of March 11.

Tips can be made to the Seattle Police Homicide Tip Line at (206) 233-5000.
