This photo, taken from surveillance video, shows a person of interest in a May 7, 2012 hit and run that injured a Snohomish County Sheriff's deputy.

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the man
who backed over a motorcycle patrol deputy with a flat bed
truck earlier this month.

The truck, a 1998 GMC with a “DDS Construction” logo, had
been stolen from a construction site in Everett on May 7.
Later that day, near the intersection of SR-2 and I-5, the
driver of the truck “intentionally” backed over the deputy
during a traffic top, according to Shari Ireton,
communications director for the Snohomish County Sheriff’s
Office.

The deputy suffered only minor injuries and the stolen truck
was later recovered in Monroe.

The sheriff’s office has released a photo taken from
surveillance video that they say shows a person of interest
in the case.

Those with any information are asked to call the sheriff’s
office tip line at 425-388-3845.
