An Eatonville couple is dead after what police are calling an apparent murder-suicide Thursday morning.

Deputies arrived to the 100 block of Rainier Ave. N. and found a deceased man inside a truck. He’s believed to have shot himself.

They found a deceased woman inside the man’s home in the 100 block of Madison Ave. S. which was about a half mile away from the truck.

Pierce County Sheriff’s Detective Ed Troyer says it appears that the man and woman were husband and wife. He says investigators from multiple agencies are at the two locations gathering evidence.
