Everett Police have arrested the owner of several bikini barista stands for investigation of sexual exploitation of a minor in connection with the ongoing investigation of sexually explicit shows by baristas.
Bill Dwayne Wheeler Jr., 29, owner of the Grab-N-Go espresso stands, was booked into the Snohomish County Jail Thursday. A 27-year-old co-owner was also arrested and later released pending further investigation, police spokesman Aaron Snell said.
Four baristas working for Wheeler were arrested last month for performing strip shows for customers at two Grab-N-Go stands. One of the girls was 16 years old.
“We have no problem with what they were wearing. It was what they were taking off while they were serving coffee,” Snell said. They’re accused of violating Everett’s Adult Cabaret law.
Court documents say the owner allegedly kept a close eye on the baristas with his cellphone and surveillance video,
The Everett Herald reports.
