A building was evacuated at Naval Station Everett after HazMat was called in for a hazardous material, the Everett Fire Department (EFD) reported Monday around 2:30 p.m.

The evacuation was prompted after a suspicious substance was found, according to KIRO 7.

The response was upgraded to a 3-alarm to ensure enough personnel could respond.

However, around 30 minutes later, crews determined there was no hazardous substance, KIRO 7 reported.

EFD noted that no one was injured.
