Everett police have released a sketch of a man who slashed another with a box cutter outside an Everett business last month.

Police say the victim was smoking a cigarette outside his workplace at 909 S.E. Everett Mall Way when the attacker approached and demanded money.

When the victim told the man he did not have any money, the suspect slashed the man’s forearm with a box cutter before fleeing.

The attacker is in his late teens to early 20s, about 5-feet-5 and around 125 pounds. He has brown eyes, black hair and a cleft lip.

Anyone with information on the attacker is asked to call the Everett Police Department’s TIP LINE at 425-257-8450, or Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound at 1-800-222-TIPS.
