Man dies after his car flips into a ditch in Pierce County

A 63-year-old man died after his car flipped into a ditch Thursday in Pierce County.
At approximately 12:18 a.m., callers reported a single-car crash at the 10900 block of Vickery Avenue East, the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) reported.
Pierce County vehicle flips upside down, killing driver
PCSO deputies arrived at the scene along with Central Pierce Fire and Rescue. Officials located the vehicle as it was upside down in a ditch on the east side of the roadway.
Central Pierce Fire and Rescue was able to extricate the male driver, who was later declared dead.
Speed and wet road conditions appeared to have possibly been a factor in the collision.
