Federal Way police investigating shooting that left one with serious injuries

Police are investigating an overnight shooting in Federal Way that left one person in serious condition.

The shooting occurred at around 3 a.m. Saturday on 37th Avenue Southwest, near the Twin Lakes Golf and Country Club.

Police responded to a shots fired call, and when they got there, they found a man who had been shot laying on the ground. Witnesses reported there were two vehicles parked next to each other, and one of them fled immediately after shots were heard.

The victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center with serious injuries.

At this time, detectives have no motive or suspect description.
