A collision with a driver in the wrong lane of Interstate 5 in SeaTac killed a woman around midnight Thursday.

The woman’s Taurus caught on fire due to the crash and was quickly engulfed in flames.

The woman died at the scene, while the man was taken to the hospital, and later died.

The northbound lanes on I-5 at 188th Street were blocked for about three hours before they could be cleared.

WSP Troopers are investigating. They have not said if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash.

Members of Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority, Tukwila Fire Department, South King Fire & Rescue, and Medic One responded to put out the fire.
