Crews are now trying to investigate a massive three-alarm fire at a strip mall in Seattle’s White Center neighborhood.

Multiple agencies helped fight the fire Monday morning. It was first reported as a two-alarm fire, but was then upgraded to a third alarm.

The strip mall is in the 9600 block of 16th Avenue Southwest in White Center. KIRO 7 TV reports that the fire started at the Locker Room Tavern. That’s the same location of a fire in April, and next door to where the Lumber Yard bar and other businesses were damaged in a fire in July.

“They were able to contain it to the one building — offensive strategy, obviously, to save the surrounding buildings,” Shauna Sheppard with Puget Sound Fire told KIRO Radio about Monday’s fire.

No one was inside the bar when the fire started and there’s no injuries to report. There’s no word yet on how the fire started. Investigators say the last fire in July was arson.

This is a developing story.
