Thousands attended the country’s third largest Pride Parade in Seattle on Sunday.

Many floats and signs showed support for Orlando and the people impacted by the mass shooting in a gay nightclub that left 49 dead and more than 50 wounded.

There was also strong pushback against Initiative 1515, which opponents say would essentially repeal some of the state’s non-discrimination protections for transgender people. That includes preventing transgender people from being able to use facilities for the gender they identify with.

There were no reported incidents during the parade. The city did have its emergency operations center open and a heavier-than-usual police presence just in case.
