Allegations into unprofessional conduct by supervisors and employees of the Seattle tunnel project have been brought forth by a former worker, reports KING 5.

The former employee, who quit, alleges supervisors of a Seattle Tunnel Partners carpentry crew created a hostile environment and asked employees to bring alcohol in exchange for better hours, overtime and assistance. Allegations of sexual harassment were also reported by the employee.

The worker sent a four-page letter to the Washington State Department of Transportation in January.

The letter alleges that a supervisor and some employees would work under the influence of alcohol.

Officials with the Department of Transportation began looking into the allegations, according to KING 5.

Seattle Tunnel Partners manager Chris Dixon told the Department of Transportation that the allegations were unfounded.
