Former Skyline student pleads not guilty to school threat

Oct 5, 2012, 9:58 AM | Updated: 11:06 am

The 16-year-old Edmonds boy accused of making online threats against Skyline High School two weeks ago has pleaded not guilty.

The former student is facing felony harassment charges after police say he posted a picture of a gun and threatened to kill students.

He has another hearing in two weeks.

The threat appeared on social media Sept. 19 and complained about students at school who, “use their wealth and social status to act superior to others.”

The teen stated that jocks would be targeted first because they are the “biggest offender.” He goes on to write that he’ll kill until he runs out of ammunition or is killed by police.

Police determined that the image of a gun was a stock photo that could easily be searched for on the Internet.
