A Gig Harbor home, formerly used as the filming site of a crime thriller, has been listed for sale at $8.9 million.

The 4.6-acre lot located at 6409 Rosedale Street NW was used in the 2018 film “Last Seen in Idaho,” according to the Redfin listing.

The Spanish-inspired estate includes seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, and elevator access to both floors inside the 12,214-square-foot home.

The inside is as dramatic as the movie filmed there

The home is equipped with a white stucco exterior and a red-tile roof, but inside it features marble flooring, sparkling crystal chandeliers, tall ceilings, and “exquisite finishes that create an atmosphere of refined luxury.”

The chef’s kitchen includes four sinks, double ovens, a pass-through bar with heat lamps, and a gas range to whip up meals for the expansive 20-seat dining room. In the den, there is also a full bar and a second kitchen.

Built in 1971, the home includes a secure gated entry, a circular driveway, and 52 parking spaces. Other outdoor amenities include a detached casita, pool house, and an outdoor kitchen in the 14,000-square-foot courtyard.

There are also “resort-style” amenities such as a heated pool inside its spectacular indoor pool house, a jacuzzi, two bathrooms, a poolside shower, and an outdoor kitchen comprised of professional-grade appliances, a courtyard fire pit, and several seating areas.

There is also an additional two acres of undeveloped land on the property.

Gig Harbor home has one more selling point — a movie credit

“Last Seen in Idaho” tells the story of a woman who was involved in a serious car accident and wound up in a coma. When she wakes up, she begins to have visions that reveal her future murder. Summer, the main character, must race to solve her own murder mystery before it becomes a reality.

The film currently has a 4.6/10 on both IMDb and Prime Video, with a 61% score on Rotten Tomatoes.

The official trailer for “Last Seen in Idaho” is available here, and the full movie is free to watch on YouTube.
