Golf club-wielding vandal smashes King County Courthouse windows

An individual wielding a golf club smashed dozens of King County Courthouse windows Wednesday morning, Seattle Police Department and county employees with the courthouse report.

The county estimates the damages will cost tens of thousands of dollars for replacement glass.

A facilities management employee with the county reported seeing an individual with a golf club smashing the windows of the courthouse in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Local leaders agree to terms on turning troubled City Hall Park over to King County

A Seattle police investigation has been launched, although no arrests in connection with the vandalism have been made.

Seattle police have not released any surveillance images of a suspect.
