Fresh off a victory against republican Rob McKenna in the Washington state gubernatorial race, Governor-elect Jay Inslee named several members of his transition team during a press conference Wednesday.

The team includes Mary Alice Heuschel, superintendent of the Renton School District, Microsoft general counsel and executive vice president Brad Smith and Washington State University President Elson Floyd.
“We’re taking the very first step today (Wednesday) in forming an administration that will be dedicated to economic growth, because I believe that economic growth has to be the ultimate solution to our fiscal problem,” Inslee said.
He said job number one when he takes office will be the implementation of his job creation plan.
