It’s another busy day for travelers at Sea-Tac Airport.

Port officials told KIRO 7 more than 125,000 passengers are expected to pass through the gates this Christmas Eve day.

Check flight status, potential delays

Sea-Tac expects to see more than 2 million passengers during Christmas travel time.

Alaska Airlines says the luggage delivery and late plane problems it had last weekend are fixed. The company says it experienced a “severe staffing shortage,” combined with difficult weather conditions.

Washington State Ferries says you should expect long wait times for vehicles over the holiday season. It expects more than 700,000 people will board a ferry between Dec. 20 and Dec. 30.

Reminder: The Edmonds/Kingston route is running at reduced capacity.

The winter sailing schedule starts Jan. 5.

Check ferry cameras and potential alerts

Highway traffic has been light Tuesday morning as schools are out and many people have the day off work. However, it’s always a good idea to check the webcams before heading over the mountain passes.
