Seattle police received reports around 7:12 a.m. of a tent on fire with someone inside near the intersection of 135th Street and Stone Avenue North. When officers arrived, they discovered a burned tent and a deceased individual inside.

The Seattle Fire Department responded shortly after and confirmed the man’s death at the scene.
