Dramatic 911 tapes reveal chaos the night soccer star Hope Solo was arrested in Kirkland.
“Hope Solo is going (expletive) psychotic and she’s beating people up. We need help,” the man on the line can be heard screaming to the operator.
The Seattle soccer star pleaded not guilty Monday following her arrest Saturday on suspicion of assaulting her sister and 17-year-old nephew.
Solo told the teen boy he was “too fat and crazy” to become a pro athlete, TMZ reported.
The teen later said he pulled out a BB gun to fend off Solo.
The judge ordered that Solo have no contact with her sister or nephew and also that she not drink alcohol. She was released on her own recognizance after a judge determined she poses no flight risk. A pretrial hearing is scheduled for August 11.
In 2012, Solo married former Seattle Seahawks tight end Jerramy Stevens. He was arrested just before their wedding for investigation of assault after a disturbance involving her, but he was not charged.
