The family of a teen shot and killed while walking with friends in Lake Stevens Saturday night has set up memorial funds to honor Molly Conley.
In lieu of flowers, you can donate to three organizations that are important to the family or reflect Molly’s interests.

A funeral mass is planned for Conley on Saturday at 1:00pm at Bishop Blanchet High School, where she was a freshman.
Meanwhile, detectives are looking for surveillance video that could help them solve Conley’s murder.
The 15-year-old girl was shot in the neck while walking in the area of South Davies Road on the south side of Lake Stevens. Police say it appears it was a drive-by shooting; officers found Conley unresponsive.
“Investigators are basically canvassing the neighborhood in Lake Stevens looking for any additional witnesses and any other potential information which might help us shed some light on the incident or identify persons responsible,” explained Chief Kevin Prentiss with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
He said they are hoping that businesses in the area have video of the shooting, adding that reports of a dark-colored SUV fleeing the scene have not been verified.

Friends and family say Molly was the last person anyone would expect to be the target of gang violence, but Shari Ireton, with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office, says that is a possibility they’re looking into.
“Snohomish County has had gang activity. We do have a gang task force, so it’s definitely something that we’ve kept our eye on,” says Ireton. “But at this point, there’s nothing that detectives have shared with me to say that that’s where this is going.”
