Huge backups from crash blocking all lanes of SB I-405

The backups caused by a crash on southbound I-405 quickly reached at least four miles Thursday afternoon.
The crash occurred just north of SR 520 around 11:30 a.m.
Traffic was getting by on the shoulder.
The crash cleared around 12:20 p.m.
