A person collecting garbage discovered human remains at a park in Shoreline on Sunday.

According to the King County Sheriff’s Office, the remains were found in the northeast section of Ronald Bog Park, according to KIRO 7.

Medical examiner working to identify the victim

Detectives from the Major Crimes Unit said the area appeared to have been used as a campsite, and evidence suggests the remains may have been there for some time.
