An investigation is underway after a triple shooting Wednesday night in Seattle’s Rainier Valley.

Police were called to the scene near 37th Avenue South and South Oregon Street, right by the Rainier Playfield in Columbia City, just after 10 p.m.

According to medics, one man suffered minor injuries and was taken to Harborview Medical Center.

Another man, 36, was also taken to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition, medics said.

Detective Valerie Carson with Seattle police said a third victim drove himself to Harborview Medical Center.

Officers said several suspects, who were at the intersection of 39th and Oregon, had fired west toward Rainier Playfield. The three victims were hit near the intersection of 38th and Oregon.

A family in the 3500 block of South Oregon Street said their home was hit by gunfire, but no one there was hurt.

Detectives ask anyone with information about the shooting to call the Seattle Police violent crimes tip line at 206-233-5000.
