The trouble keeps coming for stand-up comedian “Katt” Williams, who didn’t show up for his arraignment Thursday morning in Seattle Municipal Court.

Williams attorney told the judge the oft-arrested performer was under the impression he didn’t have to appear because of a Seattle Times story in which a City Attorney spokesperson said he didn’t have to as long as an attorney was there on his behalf, the Times reported.

So, Williams went back to California.

The Judge agreed there’d been some confusion and rescheduled the arraignment for Tuesday.

Last weekend, Williams was in Seattle and had several run-ins with people along with a brief stay in the King County Jail. He was also kicked out of his hotel for boisterous behavior and smoking pot.

A Dori Monson listener told KIRO Radio Williams hit him with a microphone and caused a concussion during his performance last Friday night at the Paramount Theater.
