King County Metro has canceled another 80 early-morning trips on Friday.

This comes after Metro canceled 26 trips on Thursday morning. Cancellations on Friday include a variety of trips out of Northgate, Redmond, Totem Lake, Bothell, Seattle, Federal Way, and more.

There remains no explanation for the unusually high number of cancellations. You can monitor updates and see the full list of cancellations from King County Metro here.

Last week, the region’s major transit cancellations involved state ferries, with over 140 sailings canceled in a single morning due to staffing shortages. Moving forward, ferries will be temporarily operating on reduced schedules for most routes in order to “provide more predictable and reliable travel” while the system is short-staffed.
