KIRO 7 hosts town hall: An urgent conversation about guns

As the gun control debate rages here in Western Washington, KIRO 7 is bringing you a thoughtful, balanced discussion.  KIRO Radio 97.3 FM is simulcasting the broadcast right now.  Listen here.

In a live town hall, we’ll explore the gun controversy — with insight from all sides. You’ll hear from advocates, experts, victims, and local leaders including Governor Jay Inslee.

Date: Wednesday, March 14

Time: 7 to 8 p.m. live on KIRO 7 

This after a day of protest on school campuses across the nation. Thousands of kids are leaving class at 10 a.m. for 17 minutes to honor the 17 people killed in a school shooting in Parkland, Florida. They’re also protesting gun violence on campus and calling on Congress to make changes to gun control laws.
