Nearly 9,000 were without power in Kitsap County

Nearly 9,000 people were without power in Kitsap County.
As of 3:45 p.m. Friday, there were 8,971 people without power in the county, according to poweroutage.us.
There were 6,260 without power in Port Orchard and 2,609 without power in Manchester, as previously shown on Puget Sound Energy’s (PSE) outage map.
PSE said the cause of the outage in Port Orchard was downed trees.
As of 8 p.m. Friday, only three customers in Port Orchard were without power, while 50 customers in Kitsap County were without power.
