A few cows decided to go on an adventure Monday morning.

The cows walked along the lanes of southbound I-5 and took the 172nd Street exit before wandering into Lakewood Commons, the Marysville Police Department reported via Facebook.

A citizen cowboy, along with Washington State Patrol Troopers, and Marysville officers, helped corral the cows.

The cowboy was able to lasso the escapees.

Authorities watched the cows until the owner’s neighbor arrived.

“All cows are now home and probably bragging about their big road trip,” the police department wrote.
