Man accused of killing Renton grandparents to appear in court

Apr 4, 2013, 7:27 AM | Updated: 7:28 am

A man charged with strangling his grandparents just hours after his release from prison will face a judge on Thursday.

The bodies of Norma and Robert Taylor were discovered in a closet in their Fairwood home by their daughter on March 9.

The night before the Taylor’s had hosted a welcome home party for their grandson, Michael Chadd Boysen, who had just been released from prison.

The Taylor’s car was missing and Boysen was tracked to a motel on the Oregon coast where he was captured after a standoff.

Boysen is being held without bail, charged with two counts of aggravated murder, which could get him life in prison or the death penalty.
