The 24-year-old man who allegedly raped a woman in a car dealership bathroom pleaded not guilty in King County Superior Court on Wednesday.
On May 14, Christopher Teel allegedly followed a 40-year-old woman into the bathroom in Ballard, locked the door, and raped her, according to charging documents.
According to police, a dealership employee heard the woman screaming but couldn’t get into the bathroom right away.
Eventually, several employees and a customer made their way into the bathroom and detained Teel, a manager of the dealership previously told KIRO Radio’s Dori Monson.
The woman was taken to Ballard Swedish hospital.
Teel remains jailed on $1 million bail. He previously pleaded guilty to assaulting an officer during the alleged attack in Ballard.
