King County prosecutors have charged a Seattle man with a felony for tearing up a Seattle Police precinct.

In early May, Dwayne Blackman visited the SPD East Precinct in the Capitol Hill neighborhood.

He started throwing papers around and kicking over garbage cans, according to police records.

His rage escalated to kicking and tearing water fountains out of the wall and busting them up with a fire extinguisher.

King County Prosecutors are not sure what caused Blackman to become violent.

Court documents say he did $6,400 worth of damages.

He is facing first-degree malicious mischief charges.

Blackman will be arraigned on October 3rd.
