Man stabbed to death during fight at Tukwila light rail station

Tukwila police are investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred at the light rail station on Tukwila International Boulevard.

Police were called to the scene around 8:40 p.m. Sunday. The victim was transported to Haborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he was pronounced dead.

He has been identified as a 29-year-old man from Friday Harbor.

Witnesses said a fight broke out between two men and the next thing they noticed was a pool of blood.

The suspect, a 30-year-old man, was found a short distance from where the victim was stabbed. Witnesses at the scene were able to identify him and he was taken into custody by Tukwila police.
