Man found dead at golf course in apparent lawn mower accident

A man who was found dead at a Tulalip golf course may have been killed when a lawn mower flipped over on top of him, the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office says.

The death was reported at 1:20 p.m. Friday after someone found the man’s body on the 13th fairway of the Battle Creek Golf Course, according to spokeswoman Sheri Ireton.

Ireton says the man’s name and the official cause and manner of death will be released by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office. No other information was being released at this time.
