Man shot in Seattle motel parking lot

A shooting in the parking lot of Orion Motel in north Seattle early Thursday morning sent one man to the hospital Thursday.
The man, who was able to make it to the motel’s office for help, was transported to Harborview Medical Center for a gunshot wound to the chest, according to Seattle police.
Officers conducted a search of the 12000 block of Aurora Avenue North, but did not locate the suspect.
Detectives will handle the follow-up investigation.
