Man stabbed near Mount Baker light rail station and Jefferson Park

Seattle police are investigating the case of a man stabbed early Tuesday near the Mount Baker light rail station, several blocks from Jefferson Park.
It happened at the intersection of 27th Avenue South and South Winthrop Street around 5 a.m. on Tuesday.
Officers found a 45-year-old man with multiple stab wounds.

The Seattle Fire Department responded and provided aid.
The man was taken to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition.
The circumstances leading up to the stabbing are unknown at this time.
