State troopers arrested a man whose license was suspended for DUI driving at speeds of more than a hundred miles an hour on I-5 near Kent Wednesday morning.

Trooper Chris Webb told KIRO Radio the driver also did not have an ignition interlock device in his car.

“And of course he was was traveling solo in the HOV lane,” said Webb.

The trooper paced the man’s Nissan Altima at 105 mph and then saw him cut off another driver.

Webb said the man was booked for reckless driving, not having an ignition interlock device, and for driving with a suspended license.
