Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch is under investigation for allegations of assault and personal property damage, according to the Bellevue Police Department.

Lynch has not been arrested, but a Bellevue police spokesperson said they’re investigating an incident at a downtown Bellevue apartment complex on August 10 at 2:30 a.m.

No domestic violence or sexual assault was involved in the allegation made by a woman who identified Lynch as a suspect, according to BPD.

Police said investigators are in the process of gathering facts of the alleged incident, including verifying whether or not Lynch was involved.
