Marysville officers were called to the local Fred Meyer after a trespasser was reported raiding the garden area.

Snohomish County 911 dispatched community service officers, who arrived at the scene with support from several patrol officers, the Marysville Police Department stated on Facebook.

Together, the officers safely apprehended the suspect — a raccoon.

Authorities later discovered the animal was injured. He was transported to the Sarvey Wildlife Care Center for treatment and rehabilitation.
