T-bone collision in Marysville flips SUV on its side, trapping driver

A rollover crash, leaving a driver stuck in their vehicle, prompted an emergency response Sunday in Marysville.

At approximately 1 p.m. near State Avenue and 108th Street, crews responded to reports of a Ford SUV on its side after being t-boned, according to the Local 3219.

Marysville fire crews stabilized the vehicle and extracted the driver within 10 minutes after arriving on the scene.

“The industry standard benchmark in extrication is 10 minutes from our on-scene arrival,” Local 3219 stated. “In reviewing the times for this incident, we met this benchmark. We arrived at 13:03:16, and the patient was extricated at 13:13:18”

Coordinated emergency response in Marysville

Officials noted the woman arrived at the nearest hospital 19 minutes after she was extracted from the vehicle. The total response timeline, from arrival on scene to the woman’s arrival at the hospital, was 29 minutes.

“Incredible teamwork by all units involved — working together to ensure rapid, safe patient care for our community,” Local 3219 stated.

No updates were provided on the severity of the victim’s injuries or current condition.
