Missing child found safe outside Portland

The 7-week-old baby that King County deputies have been searching for all weekend has been found safe outside Portland.
The baby, whose name is Lillian, was found with her 33-year-old mother Trina Curry in a home in Aloha, Oregon. Washington County deputies found them about 1:30 a.m. Monday.
“They had received an anonymous tip that the mom and the baby were at a relative’s house at that location,” said Sergeant Cindi West with the King County Sheriff’s Office. “They were able to take the baby. The baby is in protective custody at this point.”
Sgt. West said Curry was arrested after fighting with the deputies.
The baby was considered in danger because Curry gave birth using a fake name, and she has had seven other children taken away by the state for a variety of abuse and neglect complaints.
“It takes a lot to have a child taken away,” Sgt. West said. “When you have seven taken away, that becomes an immediate concern that there may be an issue with this child too.”
