Man dies after jumping from moving tour bus on I-5 near Bellingham

The Washington State Patrol (WSP) is investigating a fatal incident where someone jumped from a moving tour bus.
The man, a 34-year-old from Hawaii, jumped from a tour bus on northbound I-5 Sunday when another vehicle hit him. The accident occurred near milepost 240, just south of Bellingham.
The victim’s name has not been released at this time.
“Sadly, this is a fatal incident,” WSP Trooper Kelsey Harding said. “Please be patient while troopers on scene investigate this tragic incident.”
