Some workers had to be evacuated from the Boeing factory in Everett Thursday evening, after reports of a man walking around with a rifle.

Everett police and Boeing security responded and have finished searching the facility. They are confident there is no risk to employees, who were escorted out of buildings during a sweep.

Police say 911 dispatchers received two separate reports of a man with a gun – one at 7 p.m. and another shortly after.

Officers were able to locate and interview the callers, both of whom are Boeing employees. Officer Aaron Snell with the Everett Police Department said both witnesses stuck by their original reports, but were unable to provide further details to aid in the search.

There were no reports of injuries or shots fired.
