No witnesses, survivors of triple-fatality crash near Granite Falls

Mar 11, 2016, 9:10 AM | Updated: 11:03 am

A man walking his child to the bus stop discovered a horrific scene Friday morning.

A vehicle with three dead people inside was in a ditch. The vehicle, according to Lt. Rodney Rochon, slammed into a cedar tree.

Neighbors reported hearing something that sounded like gunshots Thursday night, Rochon said. There were two distinct sounds.

“Nothing else was seen, nothing else was heard,” he said.

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office says the crash occurred in the 12500 block of Mountain Loop Highway at Canyon Road.

Two men and one woman were in the vehicle.
