A police officer shot a suspect after a high-speed police chase that started in Snohomish County, went through Seattle and ended in Woodinville early Wednesday.

The incident began with a crash in Lynnwood around 4:40 a.m. that lead to a heated exchange and then a stabbing.

When police arrived, the suspect fled in a vehicle. Deputies pursued the suspect into Seattle on Interstate 5 and then onto eastbound SR 520 and into Redmond.
