One shot was fired by a Bellevue Police officer early Friday evening during a response to a domestic dispute.

Bellevue Police reported at 6:48 p.m. the officer-involved shooting in the 1200 block of the 151st Ave SE.

One person, described by police as a 28-year-old white man, is in custody and police say there are no outstanding suspects. Neither the suspect nor the officer were injured.

The officer who fired the shot is a 36-year-old lieutenant with 12 years of experience with the department.

The shot struck the window of a parked car.

Police recovered what appeared to be a black semiautomatic handgun on the street near where the shooting occurred. Closer examination revealed that the weapon was a pellet gun, according to police.

The King County Investigative Response Team is investigating the shooting.
