Federal Way Police are searching for a suspected killer who is believed to be involved in a series of recent shootings.

Bernard Bellerouche, 27, is considered armed and dangerous.

“I’m hoping that somebody, somewhere will hear his name or see his picture on the news and call us,” said Federal Way Police Commander Stan McCall. “We’re actively looking to get him off the street. He’s a dangerous individual and we want to take him into custody.”

According to Federal Way Police, Bellerouche shot and killed a man outside an apartment complex on Pacific Highway last week.

Police believe he is also linked to the murder of another man early Tuesday outside an apartment complex just five blocks away.

In that incident, the 22-year-old male victim was shot through the windshield of his car while driving with his wife in the car around 1 a.m.

The victim was rushed to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle where he was pronounced dead. His wife was not injured.

Bellerouche is also being investigated for possible involvement in a non-fatal shooting in Des Moines that happened on Monday, the day before the second fatal shooting

A SWAT team went to Bellerouche’s Federal Way home Tuesday, but was unable to locate him.

Anyone with information about Bellerouche’s location is asked to call the Federal Way Police Department at (253)835-6856, or 911.
