A pickup truck collided with a Washington State Patrol (WSP) patrol car, WSP reported just before 10 a.m. Wednesday.

The sergeant involved was entrapped inside his car and was injured.

He was transported to the hospital in stable condition.

The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating.
