Seattle police are crediting a Pike Place Market fish thrower for helping nab a flasher showing tourists far more than they wanted to see.

The fishmonger flagged down a patrol officer just before 5:30 p.m. Wednesday to report a guy groping women and possibly taking pictures of others.

The suspect was spotted on a balcony near some tourists who were taking in the view of the Puget Sound, says SPD spokesman Patrick Michaud. Unfortunately for them, the man had his pants down and was exposing himself to the tourists.

“When the officer confronted the suspect and asked the man what he was doing, ‘just hanging out’ was his response,” Michaud says.

Police arrested the man for Indecent Exposure and booked him into the King County Jail. Police recovered two cell phones from the flasher and are reviewing them for potential evidence.
