Crews responded after 8 p.m. on Oct. 18 to a report of a fire at the Iglesia ni Cristo church in the 7100 block of 42nd Avenue South in the Rainier Valley.

When firefighters arrived at the scene, the fire had been extinguished. The fire happened outside of the structure and did not spread inside.
