A Washington State trooper’s home in Tacoma was hit by a slingshot, not gunfire, officials believe.
Initial reports indicated that shots were fired at the Lincoln District home but a public information officer told KIRO 7 around 5:40 a.m. that it was instead a slingshot.
It is still unclear if the home was targeted.
